Wukulele Festival Fringe

Free performances, events and happenings in and around Worthing town centre, all weekend



Fringe overview 

Friday 8th October: Informal get-together at The Wheatsheaf Pub
Everyone is welcome at this uke-friendly pub from 8.30pm.

Saturday 9th October: Free performances, events and film screenings
Saturday's programme of fringe events will take place at Assembly Hall's Richmond Room, The Wheatsheaf Pub and Mooey's Mocha Bar.

Sunday 10th October: Uke Jam and Ukeathon!
Sunday's fringe hub is St. Paul's Centre with uke jams from across the UK taking part in a mass-strum and sing-along culminating in a "Glee" inspired event. Lime Cafe at St. Paul's will be serving drinks and meals throughout the day.

The Wheatsheaf Pub, 22-24 Richmond Road, Worthing BN11 1PP
The Wheatsheaf will host ukulele meet-ups, performance and films. As well as serving real ale from Harvey's and Dark Star, the pub has a late licence (until 2.30am) on Friday and Saturday nights, and serves roast dinners from noon until 2.30pm on Sundays.

Mooey's Mocha Shop, Chapel Road, Worthing BN11 1BG
Ukulele soloists and small groups will play in 20-30 minute slots throughout Saturday afternoon at this welcoming cafe. Mooey's will also be serving food, tea, coffee and homemade cakes.

The Richmond Room, Assembly Hall, Stoke Abbott Road, Worthing BN11 1HJ
On Saturday daytime The Richmond Room will be a hive of uke activity with our marketplace of ukulele stalls, workshops by some of the star performers of Wukulele Festival, and surprise performances in the Richmond Room bar.

St. Paul's Centre, 55 Chapel Road, Worthing BN11 1EE
As well as being venue for The School Ukulele Commission concert on Friday, and home to Lime Cafe, St. Paul's will host our "Glee" inspired ukeathon and jam on Sunday 10th October from 12 noon to 4.00pm.
