Intervention
is
an
inspirational workshop taught by
accomplished performers and instrument makers Shelley Rickey (USA)
and Marko Van der Horst (Holland) for aspiring ukulele players. Their
novel approach will inspire people who have never even picked up a
ukulele to give it a try.
Ukuleles are provided for your use at this workshop.
Suitable for: Complete
beginners and all ages. Children must be accompanied by
an adult.

Right Hand Strumming Techniques
with Ukulelezaza (all levels)

Improve
your
strumming
techniques
with Ukulelezaza! Belgian virtuoso Remco
Houtman-Janssen will teach you several kinds of triplets (fast and
slow) along with more complex strumming patterns, and a few that just
look tricky (and will impress your friends). Remco will also reveal his
biggest secret - a smooth strum that defines his style. This
workshop is suitable for all levels and all-comers will go home with at
least one new strum in their own repertoire.

Improvisation Workshop with Lionel

the ukulele. Lionel will guide you through technique, dynamics, rhythm
and articulation, and will breathe new life into your ukulele playing,
release your creativity and improve your confidence as a ukulele player.

Blues Ukulele with Yan Yalego

a true feel for the blues with Yan Yalego's Blues Workshop. French uke
supremo Yan will demonstrate and teach his approach to playing the
blues on ukulele and guide you through all the classic rhythm and blues
patterns. Yan will examine chord progressions, basic fingerpicking,
strumming and blues scales. And he'll give you his handy guidebook
to the blues in C and A. Everything you need bar a lonesome morning
without your mojo!

(winner of BBC TV's The Weakest Link) and Eleanor Callaghan of The Bobby McGees. Expert ukulele players,

ukulele tutorials, Eleanor and Jimmy will help you improve your
ukulele playing technique in this dedicated strumming workshop.
